Rune stones and Viking history
Anne_J, 02-10-2022
Our guide Erik was knowledgeable and made the experience very enjoyable as we explored the countryside just outside of Stockholm to learn about the Viking period and why Rune stones were placed
A very I formative view. We enjoyed it very much and learned a lot of things we did not know. Thank you.

The guide was very friendly and addressed all of our questions. He was also interested in our general backgrounds.
One of the best tours ever!

Our guide was both knowledgeable and personable. He made the history come alive! I’m looking forward to continuing study of the Rune Stones and the people who placed them.
Exciting Look at Local History

A great experience! Communication before the excursion was efficient and friendly and our guide picked us up at our hotel right on time. Our group of five had a great time checking out the different sites and we were all impressed with our guide's passion for the local history. We spent nearly a week in Sweden celebrating our mom's 70th birthday and she said this excursion was the highlight of her tour. Job well done. Thank you!!
Amazing history lesson and beautiful views of the countryside

When we booked our trip to Sweden, I knew it wouldn’t be complete without learning more about the Vikings. Nadia was an excellent guide and had an enormous amount of knowledge about Viking culture and history. I knew a little bit about Viking expeditions and conquests, but did not imagine we would learn so much about their intricate religious and social customs. We visited three different ruin sites, including burial grounds, an open-air courthouse, and a causeway. Nadia explained the meaning of each ruin and its importance to Viking culture. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in history.
