Entertaining and exciting

It was an entertaining and exciting way to visit the archipelago. Due to light winds in the morning we had to motor out to our destination, where we dropped the anchor and enjoyed lunch and a swim. In the afternoon the winds picked up, and we were able to sail properly. Everyone on the boat had their own share of time at the helm. I would recommend this experience to everyone that wanted to visit the area.

What a fabulous day with Martin exploring the archipelago. He was so knowledgeable and we had a very full day sailing. It was so fun getting the sails up!! A fabulous experience that I would highly recommend.
Family Fun Sailing the Archipelago

It was a wonderful day of sailing seeing the beautiful archipelago of Stockholm. Our captain was terrific and taught us all a little bit about sailing, involving interested passengers in all aspects. We enjoyed FIKA and a traditional Swedish lunch. When we anchored for lunch, my three kids enjoyed swimming. It's a full day - so bring layers as the morning and early afternoon were full of sunshine - but when the clouds rolled in, we put on our warmer gear. Highly recommend - a memorable way to see one of Sweden's natural treasures.
NOTE: We booked the excursion through TripAdvisor and the confirmation details indicated parking was very limited in Vaxholm at the departure point. We opted to use public transportation (train to bus) from our hotel in Stockholm. It was clean, comfortable, and super easy to navigate. We arrived in plenty of time to board. There was no wait for the bus back to Stockholm either - which made for a pleasant ride home.
