Mosebacke Torg
Mosebacke (Mosebacke torg) is a square and park where the first plantings took place during 1852–1853. The square and the surrounding neighborhood of Mosebacke were created after the Mosebacke area was hit by an extensive fire in 1857, when many properties there burned to the ground. The park was remodeled in 1941 when it received its current look.

Since the 18th century, the site has been known for venues where cultural events take place. It is the site of Stockholm's oldest private theatre, Södra teatern. The current theater was designed by architect Johan Fredrik Åbom and was inaugurated in 1859. There are also restaurants, an outdoor terrace and stages where local celebrities like Cornelis Vreeswijk have performed.

Master Mikaels Gata
Through the construction of Katarinavägen - Renstiernas Gata at the beginning of the 20th century, Fjällgatan came to be divided into two separate parts. In 1939, the part west of Renstiernas Gata was proposed to be named Mäster Mikaels Gata.

The neighborhood Mäster Mikael, which gave rise to the street name, has in turn been named after the man, Michael Reissuer, who in the years 1635-50 was the city's executioner; master was a common title for the executioner. Master Mikael has lived in the neighborhood. Master Mikael was - master, sharp judge and supervisor of the executioners and the racks. They served as assistants at the executions on the gallows, they captured stray pigs and dogs, they skinned horses - they were the pariahs of society. They were relegated to the very edges of the mountains, they were no one's company, often criminals and society's unfortunate children.

Katarina Kyrka
Katarina kyrka is one of the major churches in central Stockholm, Sweden. The original building was constructed 1656–1695. It has been rebuilt twice after being destroyed by fires, the second time during the 1990s.
The Katarina-Sofia borough is named after Katarina Parish and the neighbouring parish of Sofia.

The original architect was Jean de la Vallée. The construction was severely delayed due to shortage of funds.

In 1723 the church, together with half of the buildings in the parish, was completely destroyed in a major fire. Rebuilding started almost immediately, under supervision of Göran Josua Adelcrantz, the city architect, who designed a larger, octagonal tower.

On May 17, 1990, the church burned down again, leaving almost nothing remaining but the external walls. Architect Ove Hidemark was responsible for rebuilding the church, which reopened in 1995.

Several famous Swedes are buried in the cemetery as most notably the assassinated Foreign Minister Anna Lindh.
